Innovative design
The double-curved roof surface is mounted with a vinyl cladding with inlaid solar power cells and LED lights. The solar power cells are expected to supply electricity and heat to a large part of the building’s needs.
The light can be computer controlled and offer different light variations, so that the roof surface can change color as needed. As the roof surface is a large “monitor”, it will be possible to form various artistic light shows of different nature, with short messages such as “Welcome to Zealand”, “Merry Christmas” or “Happy New Year”.
In addition, there are plans to create a collaboration with “Sund og Bælt” on LED lighting of the Great Belt Bridge, so that a coherent light show can be created between the bridge and the tower building.
Throughout the building various technologies will be incorporated, e.g. Virtual Reality and Hologram technology, to offer interactive experiences for the visitors.
